I’d love some ideas of simple ‘meals’ you could take on a picnic for lunch and for dinner as a family?!
That’s a great idea, Debbie!!! – Ladies – let’s hear from you – what are your ideas???
My favorite picnic “sandwich” idea is to buy the King’s Bread in the round – slice it in half so you have 2 rounds.. fill it with your favorite meats, chesses and spreads. Put the 2 rounds together – then at the park – slice like pieces of pie.. Yummy good!! Some chips, fresh fruit – you’ve got it made!
I’d love to hear some other ideas too!!
Dearest Pastor Julie Zager

Intriguing suggestions in this blog post but have you been seeing the numerous problems that we are with your website page layout?
Last night while trying to squeeze in some quiet time after a long day I read something that really challenged me. “Spending an entire day alone with God may sound scary or difficult to pull off. But think of NOT doing it. Imagine reaching the age of seventy having received more than 25,000 days as a gift from God, and not having given a single one back to him because you were “too busy”.” -John Ortberg. I have often toyed with the thought of a day of solitude or just starting out with a few hrs of solitude but haven’t for lack of knowing how…sounds strange, huh? but truly, I have many questions about a day of solitude. So I thought it would be interesting to ask the ladies of Northshore how they carve out a day of solitude. Where do you go? how do you spend your time? How often do you go? Is there a place that offers solitude that you would recommend? I want to learn how to spend a day with my Savior. I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas.
A friend of mine introduced me to this blog with this post. It touched me so I thought I’d share it with you all. On the surface, it’s about parenting and/or adoption but on a deeper level it reminds us that everyone has “after-the-airport” moments, that God’s grace is truly sufficient and that WE are often the conduit for that grace. Thanks for letting me share it with you.

Wow, what an incredibly challenging and heartfelt post – thank you so much for sharing it, Kellie!
The new Zune browser is surprisingly very good, but not as excellent as the iPod’s. It works nicely, but is not as rapidly as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you sometimes program on utilizing the web browser that is not an issue, but if you might be arranging to browse the internet alot from your PMP then the iPod’s more substantial screen and far better browser could be critical.
