AIM Class News
We heard from Marcia Gladwish and her minsitry in sharing the love of Jesus through the arts. She recently returned from a month long trip to Hungry where she taught in schools and had many opportunities to share the gospel. We enjoyed learning how to make story ropes and heard from some personal stories in AIM Class. Pray for Marcia as she is in Cambodia with the Northshore Team, for the next 3 weeks and for open doors to share the gospel through art.
October 2nd:
We will be watching the Perspectives Video this week. The story of His Glory Part II: God gained early worship from Abraham. Then he went GLOBAL! Come see the story of the Exodus in a new light. What was God really up to? See you there! We will be starting at 10:45 instead of 11:00am.
Pray For The Cambodia Team
Please pray for ou
r brothers and sisters as they represent Christ with words, deeds and much love to the people in Cambodia and Thailand.
Pray for them as they witness first hand the implications for children and woman as a result of human trafficking. May God protect them and open their eyes for what God wants them to see. Thank you all for your prayer!
TV Broadcasting in Central Asia
I saw the tears of the oppr
essed—and they have no comforter…” Ecclesiastes 4:1. There are over 1 billion Muslims worldwide that are in need of a Comforter! Almost 1 out of every 5 people in the world is a Muslim and an estimated 7.5 million Muslims live the US. I also come from a large Muslim family in Central Asia and practiced Muslim traditions not knowing the true God. From a very young age, I experienced a huge emptiness inside my heart and was seeking something to fill it. I thought Muslim rituals would help me to overcome this emptiness but it didn’t. Then, through the witness of missionaries, I became a Christ follower and my life has never been the same. God placed a desire in my heart to serve Him in some way. I worked with Wycliffe translators for 13 years and completed the translation of the Old Testament into one of the Central Asian languages. Northshore played a huge role by supporting me all these years. What a joy it was for me to work with NSB staff for 10 plus years. Thank you Northshore body for your selfless love and generosity all these years! You touched thousands of people through your support and love!
After the completion of the Old Testament, God gave me a vision of the steps to follow. After much prayer since March 2010, I joined a Christian TV broadcasting team which has been a dream of mine since childhood. God fulfilled this dream more than what I had imagined it to be after so many years! Because of new satellite programming, God’s message of hope and joy is now available daily in people’s homes. By His grace and power, a partnership of believers recently started producing Christian TV programs in the T-land language with the goal of reaching the Central Asian people worldwide. They need to hear that God loves them and seeks them through Jesus the Savior and wants to adopt them as children to b
e with Him forever! This is the good news we long to share with the Muslim men and women through TV broadcasting! Since January 2010 the TV programs have been on the air for the Central Asian people around the world including Iran, Turkey and Afghanistan twice a day.
Please pray with us for the Lord to touch many hearts through this TV ministry for Muslim men and women around the world. God has a special call for the T people to show them His love. We want to be faithful to be there for them and bring encouragement that the message of the Bible is true and available to every person. Also please pray that funding comes through for the completion of the studio building that is in process of being built.

September 4th:
We had the privilege of hearing from John Chapman. He has been participating in mission trip to Guatemala for several years now. John took a trip this year to help with maintenance on one of the America Latina schools in Palencia, Guatemala. The country is challenged by the drug cartel, the government, the poverty and the terrain. Please pray for the schools as they reach out to love on children and share the Gospel.
September 11th:
Come join us to view and discus the DVD “The Story of His Glory”. What is The Story above all stories, and what is your Destiny in The Story? God can be loved only when He is known. That’s why the story of the Bible is the story of God revealing Himself in order to draw to Himself obedient worship, or glory, from the nations. With God’s passionate love at the core, the Bible is truly the story of His glory. Those of us who have taken the Perspectives Course will welcome this review! Those of you who wanted to and couldn’t-now is your chance! We will be studying the 4 components of this course at intervals over the next months. Hope you can join us.
